Playing catch up
I’ve completely neglected this little corner of my world and I feel terrible about it. I’ve never been a good blogger and when new things come into my life that take up a lot of my time, other aspects are sadly overlooked. Nonetheless, I’ve missed sharing little insights of my daily life.
The next few weeks will be filled with travel, both trips to Southern California, one for a...

Humpday
I started my new job this week and I’ve been busy getting myself reacquainted with my alarm clock, morning traffic, public transit, and of course office protocol. Everything else has fallen by the wayside and I expect getting the house completely unpacked will take much longer. Anyhow, I spent last week enjoying the last of my funemployment, the following pictures should give you a good idea...

Back in the Game
The last couple weeks have brought some fun and unexpected changes into our lives. Aside from moving into our new home and getting settled in we’ve also welcomed my good friend Erin and her pooch, Jackson, into our humble home aaaaand I’ve also managed to procure a job. That’s right folks, you are looking at the new Client Coordinator for an Immigration Counseling Law Firm. I am...

Little things
We’ve been in our new house for a week and half now. We’re still unpacking and still spending heaps of money. When they say buying a house is expensive, boy are they right. But no matter how empty our pocket books may be or how many tears we may shed when we check our banking accounts; nothing compares to the feeling we get when we walk in the front door and know this place is all...

Humpday
Busy, busy, busy, should be the title of today’s post. We’ve had so much going on this past week that I have had zero time for much else. We received the key to our new home last Thursday and pretty much spent the rest of the weekend buying appliances, a new bed, furnishings, and home decor. Epicman was pretty much right on when he said; “Most expensive weekend, ever!” No...

Miss Sally Draper
The Coveteur has featured Kiernan Shipka (aka Sally Draper) and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely love her on Mad Men and it was so great seeing her character progression this last season, I can’t wait to see what Season 5 brings. From reading the feature she seems like such a lovely young lady and looks like she’s already developing a killer fashion sense. She’s so cute...

Preparing for summer
I expect this summer will be filled with trips to the Clackamas River for floating trips. It’s my favorite part of the summer and I want to try and be prepared so I can be comfortable and ready to take on the large crowds and hot summer sun. I used polyvore to create a little fashion board of my ideal floating outfit.

Mexico: Part II
Yesterday I showed you Patzcuaro, Michoacan, today I present Eronga(ricuaro), Michoacan; the birthplace of my father, aunts, uncles, grandmother. It had been about 17 years since my last visit but things were just as I had remembered them, except with maybe a few more cars. Enjoy!

Mexico: Part I
I’ve finally gotten around to downloading my Mexico pictures. We had such a great time visiting, seeing family, eating awesome food, and taking in the sites. Mexico is a truly magical place and I cannot wait to go back; I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
These were taken in Patzcuaro, Michoacan, Mexico
Enjoy!

Anniversary
Five years ago I met one of the most amazing men I’ve ever had the great pleasure of meeting. When I met him he was intriguing, mysterious, but also very funny and personable. He was MY perfect guy. It took a few months of “hanging out” before he finally asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes and to this day it’s been one of the best decisions of my life. I...

Humpday Update
We met with our Realtor this morning and did the inspection on our “future” home. I’m so incredibly excited and can’t wait until we close and finally get the keys!! I have sooo many decorating ideas floating around in my head that I finally joined pinterest so I could gather additional inspiration and find ways of using our existing furniture so we don’t break the...

Memorial Day Weekend
We spent Memorial Day weekend celebrating Epicman’s 32nd birthday!!! We started off Friday afternoon with lunch at E-San Thai and we were stoked that the sun was out, unfortunately in the process of driving downtown and finding a parking spot, the sunny skies turned dark and it began to pour.
Fortunately, while we were enjoying our lunch, the clouds parted and the sun came out to spend...
